How do I download music from Youtube?
Welcome to TuneNabber. Find the URL of the video from which you'd like to download the music. Paste it on our homepage with your email address, and we'll send you a link to download the file shortly. If you don't submit your email address, we won't email you the link, but you can still download it from the process page once the file has processed.
Why do you want my email? Are you going to spam me?
If you submit your email address, we can tell you right away when the file is done. We will never spam you. You can test this out if you like. Use a new email address on only this site, and you can see we'll never send you unwanted email.
Ok, I got your email, but I don't understand how to download the link to the MP3!
We've included a link in the email that we sent you. Just paste the link in your browser, and the MP3 file will start downloading to your computer.
What's with the whole email thing? Why can't you give me the MP3 right away?
It's much more reliable to do the conversion with your email address. However, the email address is optional, so you can just download it after waiting a few minutes if you like instead.
How long will it take for you to send me the email with the MP3?
When you submit a correct link, a time estimate will appear on the screen. The wait is usually under 5 minutes.
How long do I have to download the MP3 before you delete it from your system?
You have 48 hours to download the MP3 file. After that, you'll have to resubmit the video file if you want to download it again.
Why can't you send me the MP3 in higher quality?
The original audio of online videos is usually compressed because it is streaming online. We rip the audio directly and do not do anything to reduce quality. However, there is nothing we can do to increase quality from the original. All audio downloads are (by default) 2-channel stereo, with 128kbps bitrate.
I got an error saying that the video file was too big! What gives?
We need to impose size restrictions to keep the system optimized. The current size limit is about 10 minutes of footage (depending on quality).
Do you support the same sites as ClipNabber?
We support *almost* all of the same sites, but not all. There is a list on the bottom of the homepage that contains the video websites we currently support for this service.
